Baltic Fix – Device acceptance and handover terms and conditions

1. Device acceptance for diagnostics or repair

1.1. The device is accepted for diagnostics or repair in its current technical and visual condition, as recorded in the acceptance report. 1.2. The customer confirms that they have provided truthful information about the device’s operation, symptoms, and any previous damage. 1.3. Baltic Fix performs a visual inspection of the device and records visible damage, wear, and included accessories.

2. Liability for pre-existing damage and hidden defects

2.1. Baltic Fix does not assume liability for damage that already existed in the device before it was handed over for diagnostics or repair. 2.2. During diagnostics, hidden defects may be discovered that were not previously visible or known. Such defects are not considered damage caused by Baltic Fix. 2.3. Disassembly of the device for diagnostic purposes may reveal worn, damaged, or fragile parts, the deterioration of which may progress independently of Baltic Fix’s actions.

3. Diagnostic process and possible risks

3.1. Diagnostics are performed to determine the cause of the fault and the repair options. 3.2. In some cases, diagnostics may reveal that the device cannot be repaired or that the repair is not economically justified. 3.3. Baltic Fix does not assume liability for additional damage that occurs during diagnostics if it is related to the device’s prior wear, corrosion, cracks, electrical faults, or other hidden damage.

4. комплектation and accessories

4.1. Baltic Fix returns the device to the customer in the same комплектation as indicated in the acceptance report. 4.2. The customer confirms that the комплектation indicated in the acceptance report is complete and correct. 4.3. Baltic Fix does not assume liability for accessories that are not indicated in the acceptance report.

5. Repair approval

5.1. Repairs are carried out only after the price and scope of work have been agreed with the customer. 5.2. If the customer refuses the repair, the device is returned after the diagnostic results have been explained. 5.3. Diagnostics and device pickup/delivery are free of charge unless stated otherwise.

6. Handing over the device to the customer

6.1. By signing the handover report, the customer confirms that they have received the device and have familiarized themselves with the work performed or the diagnostic results. 6.2. Baltic Fix confirms that the device has been handed over to the customer with the complete комплектation as indicated in the acceptance report. 6.3. The customer undertakes to check the device upon receipt. After handover, claims regarding visual damage or комплектation will not be accepted.

7. Warranty

7.1. The warranty applies only to the repair work performed, not to the device as a whole. 7.2. The warranty does not apply to:

  • natural wear and tear,

  • manufacturer design defects,

  • damage caused by improper use,

  • damage not related to work performed by BalticFix.

8. Limitations of liability

8.1. Baltic Fix does not assume liability for data loss, configuration changes, or settings in devices that contain electronic control units. 8.2. Baltic Fix does not assume liability for the device’s operation outside testing conditions, for example:

  • water pumps in the customer’s well,

  • garden equipment on the customer’s property,

  • coffee machines with the customer’s water quality. 8.3. BalticFix’s liability does not exceed the amount of the repair cost.

9. Customer obligations

9.1. The customer is obliged to provide truthful information about the device. 9.2. The customer is obliged to pay the invoice on time. 9.3. The customer is obliged to collect the device within the specified time.

10. Final provisions

10.1. By signing the acceptance or handover report, the customer confirms that they have familiarized themselves with these terms and agree to them. 10.2. Baltic Fix reserves the right to уточнить the terms, informing the customer before providing the service.
